The app

Thumpkin is a beat maker made by Sundry Mill. You can use it for free, with no account. Please do not use it to break the law or to harm the service, for example by flooding it with requests.

What you make is yours

Beats, WAV files and videos you make with Thumpkin are yours to keep, post, share and sell, including on monetised channels. Every drum and synth in Thumpkin is made in code, and the sampled kits use public domain (CC0) recordings, so no one else has a claim on them. Free videos carry a small Thumpkin mark and end card; please leave those in when you post a free video. The app itself, its code, design and kits as a collection stay ours: please do not copy the app or repackage its sounds as a sample pack.

Sounds you record

Record only sounds you have the right to use, such as noises you make yourself. Do not record other people's music or voices without their permission. Recordings stay on your device and you are responsible for what you post with them.

Thumpkin Pro

• Plans: USD 3 a month, or USD 24 once for lifetime Pro. Depending on where you live, tax may be added; the checkout shows the total before you pay.
• Seller: Pro is sold through Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record, which handles the payment, tax and invoices under its own buyer terms.
• What it includes: every kit, including a new kit each month while Pro is on sale, 32 and 64 step patterns, WAV downloads, videos without the Thumpkin mark or end card, and your recorded sounds on every drum row, as described on thumpkin.com/pro.
• Monthly: renews every month until you cancel. Cancel any time at thumpkin.com/manage or from the link in your receipt. Pro stays on until the end of the month you have paid for, and you can undo the cancellation until then. We do not refund part months.
• Lifetime: one payment for Pro for the life of the product, with every future kit included. Buying lifetime ends a monthly plan on the same email for you.
• Your Pro: Pro is for you, on any phone or computer you use. Please do not share or publish your receipt link; a link that is shared publicly may be turned off.
• Refunds: if Pro does not work for you, write to us and we will help, including with a refund through Polar where its terms allow. A refunded purchase switches Pro off.
• Prices: we may change prices for new purchases. A price change never applies to a lifetime purchase already made, and we will tell monthly subscribers before a new price applies to them.

No warranty

Thumpkin is provided as is. We work to keep it running and to keep exports working in the browsers we list, but to the extent the law allows we are not liable for any loss from using it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. A change never takes away Pro you have already paid for.
